Completed Projects
We had the privilege to be part of a major refurbishment at London’s iconic Tramp members’ club, a £12 million transformation that went beyond a mere facelift, redefining the entire members’ experience.
The renovation has introduced a new level of understated luxury while retaining the club’s essence – vintage glamour. The design has been carefully updated with subtle modern touches, bringing it into the present.
The club’s iconic horseshoe bar and exquisite 17th-century wood panels remain, picked out by clever lighting, while surrounding areas have been refreshed with elegant art deco influences, intricate detailing, and warm, rich tones. New spaces have been introduced to accommodate a variety of moods.
The Gold Room, a lounge bar named after co-founder Johnny Gold, awakens the senses with luxurious yet durable mohair upholstery. The fixed seating, with its rich ochre hue and lustrous finish, is irresistible to the touch, offering an inviting sense of comfort and indulgence.
Charlie’s Snug features seating in a naturally warming wool velvet. The rich earthy shade instils a sense of cosy comfort and calmness.
Adjacent to The Society private dining room is Jackie’s Lounge, named after novelist Jackie Collins, the wife of Tramp co-founder Oscar Lerman. The fixed bench seating here is seductive in the rouge dove velvet.
The Exterior Smoking Terrace offers both fixed bench seating and individual chairs adorned in Liberty Tudor columns fabric, a tribute to Liberty’s iconic arts and crafts designs, featuring geometric patterns and rhythmic, abstract lines.
This redesign has managed to preserve the mystery, seduction, and storied history that have made Tramp an enduring legend for over 50 years.
