Completed Projects
At the centre of Manchester’s rich urban landscape, The Cut & Craft finds its home in the grand, Grade II-listed former Manchester and Salford Bank – offering a dining experience that blends contemporary style with storied heritage.
Located in the heart of the city on Mosley Street, The Cut & Craft has found its new home within the breathtaking walls of the former Manchester & Salford Bank, now known as Bond by Bruntwood SciTech. This Grade II listed building, originally constructed in 1862, has been thoughtfully transformed into one of Manchester’s most sophisticated steak and seafood destinations.
From the very beginning, this project was more than just a fit-out – it was a revival. With a £3.5 million investment and years of meticulous planning, every element of the space has been designed to respect the building’s Victorian heritage while creating a modern, immersive dining experience.
PGI Contracts was honoured to contribute to this remarkable transformation, bringing our expertise in bespoke seating and interior detail to a venue where every touchpoint matters.
Ground floor dining features plush, custom-made radius seating, elegantly accommodating champagne buckets and echoing the curvature of the original architecture.
Back-to-back seating and freestanding sofas provide stylish flexibility while maintaining intimacy and flow.
Private vault spaces, including a sommelier lounge and ‘gossip room’, offer exclusive, high-end experiences within the building’s original bank vaults – now beautifully reimagined for the modern guest.
The colour palette of rich blues and golds, paired with light-flooded interiors and grand historic details, creates a space where laid-back glamour meets timeless design.
The Cut & Craft isn’t just a new hospitality venue – it’s a symbol of what’s possible when history, design, and craftsmanship come together.
