Apprentices Achieve Counterbalance Forklift Certification

We’re proud to celebrate another milestone for our apprentices, Issac McCabe and Zac Downing, who have successfully passed their Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Operating Practical Test with Ashbourne Safety Training.

Isaac and Zac were joined on the assessment by our Joiner, Harvey Hobdey-Canale. All three demonstrated great commitment and focus throughout the training and successfully passed their practical assessment.

This achievement marks an important step in their professional development. Operating a counterbalance forklift is a key skill in many industrial and manufacturing environments, and completing this certification ensures our apprentices have the knowledge and practical ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Health and safety are central to everything we do at PGI. By gaining this qualification, our apprentices are not only improving their technical capabilities but also reinforcing safe working practices that protect both themselves and their colleagues.

Investing in training like this helps build confidence, competence, and a strong foundation for future career progression. It also allows our team to support day-to-day operations more effectively, contributing to a safer and more productive workplace.

Congratulations to all three of them on this fantastic achievement and thank you to Ashbourne Safety Training for delivering the course and supporting their development.
